A Budget Vino reader recently sent this link my way. It's a site that sells unique wines at huge discounts. For the most part, the wines are way more than $10. Not today.

I am a wine retailer and I can assure you that the suggested retail prices that these guys use are majorly inflated. For example, if a wine should retail for 17.99 (based on a "standard" 30% or 35% mark-up), they might use a "suggested" or "regular" price of 21.99 on it to make their price break appear more dramatic. They get away with that by generally (although not always) promoting wines that are unknown.
