The Budget Wino selected as Typepad's featured blog!

I just returned from a 5 day trip to Mexico (where I drank wine that makes even awful airline wine seem drinkable) to find that The Budget Wino was selected as Typepad's featured blog on February 12th. This is truly humbling for me, and I thank the people at Typepad for the incredible honor.

To all of you who might be reading this blog for the first time, I ask you to stick with me. I post at least every Thursday, and am usually able to drink enough wine to churn out a Tuesday review. In the next few weeks, ill be taking the budget journey to the world of Organic budget wines and the world of inexpensive Ports. So keep reading, keep drinking budget wines, and make sure to leave me a comment from time to time.

Hey, great website. You've got a great writing style that is easy to read and flows very well. Here's to more reviews and more wine! PS. I hope you're doing some type of exercising...downing entire bottles of vino can't be that good on the waist line. God bless you, I'm just glad that you're doing it rather than me. Oh, and another thing. Have you thought about reviewing vino related gadgets? I have the Vinturi Wine Aerator (look it up on google) and find that it works great. Oh, and another thing. You may want to invest in a wine preserver thing so you don't have to drink the entire bottle. Oh, and PSSS. DO you think you can try the Bonny Doon Big House Red or the Barefoot Cab? I've enjoyed these in the past and just wanted to see what you thought of 'em, now that you're a semi-famous wine reviewer and all...
